An Empirical Analysis Of Influence Factors Of The Farmers' Willingness To Local Citizenization In Xinxiang City,Henan Province

Under the current context of the Urban-Rural integration coordinated development,under the governing idea which take "people-oriented" as the core concept, how to make the farmers live the same life as urban residents locally, and enjoy the same harvest fruits of modern society development, has become an important subject that significantly impact on social economic development. And also relates directly to the magnificent goal of build well-off society in an all-around way.In recent years, the proportion of farmers in Henan Province chose to work out of the province has declined nearly 10 points from 2012 to 2014, the industrial agglomeration has played a key role. Survey shows that the employed person in industrial agglomeration area in the prefecture city, about 60% of those who are farmers in this city. Migrant workers have a lower proportion, and very few of them have settled down. Xinxiang as a prefecture-level city in Henan, its urbanization rate depends mainly on the local citizenization. Therefore, strengthen the native farmers' willingness to local citizenization,make perfect sense to urbanization of Xinxiang.The data required for the study, is based on Xinxiang city, Henan Province, by means of conduct field surveys in some villages and towns. Then use the regression model, make an empirical analysis on the influence factors of farmers' willingness to local citizenization.Research shows that whether there are members farming in family, whether to join the social security, the marital status, residence type in the working area, children's educational status, whether enjoying the local government benefit farming policies, the educational level of farmers, nonfarm income level, job category, and whether the village is surrounded by industrial parks, these ten variables significant influenced farmers' willingness to local citizenization; gender, age, the distance from the village to the employment place,peasant-workers time, these four variables did not pass the test of significance.According to the research results, this article proposes some policy recommendations from the following aspects: firstly, improve the integration of Urban-Rural public services and institutional innovation. Secondly, protect the farmers' land rights. Thirdly, resolve the housing and employment problem.
