Steel industry in China's economic development is an important pillar industry is a leader of China's industrial modernization. In 2013, China's crude steel production ranking first in the world, accounting for 48.5% of global crude steel production, reached 779 million tons. But at the same time in the rapid development of Steel industry, consumes a lot of resources and energy, and caused serious environmental pollution. Steel industry as a main source of environmental pollution, has become a influence human survival and the key problems which restrict the development of the enterprise. As the source of the sustainable development of transformation, eco-innovation has become the focus of international competition. However, China's steel enterprises ecological practice is relatively immature, and eco-innovation ability is weak, the eco-innovation performance is not optimistic. Therefore, need scientific and reasonable evaluation of steel enterprises eco-innovation performance in order to guide enterprise eco-innovation behavior.In this paper,12 listed steel companies as an example, using the super efficiency DEA model for steel enterprise's eco-innovation performance were evaluated between 2011-2013, using Matlab to calculate results, based on results of the concrete, eco-innovation performance of steel enterprises is analyzed, namely the efficiency value analysis, projection value analysis, sensitivity analysis. The analysis results show that the 12 listed steel companies enterprises has six eco-innovation performance effectively, six enterprises' eco-innovation performance is not good; Through the projection value analysis of enterprise's eco-innovation performance found weaknesses; through sensitivity analysis of eco-innovation performance found that the steel enterprise value for the proportion of revenue R&D expenditure, raw material consumption of per ton steel, tons of SO2 emissions, social contribution rate present highly sensitive variables. For related empirical analysis result, proposed increase investment in steel enterprise eco-innovation research and development, strengthen eco-innovation human capital investment in steel enterprise, improve the industrial chain, reduce raw material consumption of steel enterprises in order to improve the economic performance of steel enterprise, cut down comprehensive energy consumption of steel enterprises, decrease of steel enterprise "three wastes" emissions, implementing ISO14001 environmental management system in order to improve the environment performance of steel enterprise, active steel enterprises social responsibility, positive the performance of steel enterprise product liability, protect the basic rights of steel enterprise staff in order to improve the social performance of steel enterprise.
