Along with the rapid development of China's economy and the urbanization process progresses, the position of construction industry become more and more obvious in the national economy. But in recent years, although the construction rapid growth, companys growth efficiency is not high, vicious competition is serious, the profit margin is low, therefore, the construction enterprise cost management controls has been a hot issue. Any construction companies want to gain a foothold in the wave of market economy, we must find ways to improve cost control of construction project management efficiency, enhance their core competitiveness. With the continuous development of the whole process of cost control and improvement of the theory, we has been realized that traditional cost control and management did not comprehensive, we should use a more systematic, comprehensive and dynamic management concepts and methods for all-round, the whole process project cost control.In this paper, the author discusses the project cost control target, elements and links as well as the principles and methods for project cost control. Will be fully cost control principle, dynamic control principle and the earned value method, value engineering applied to construction project cost control research. On the basis of cost control theory, combined with the HP company's W roadmap project to carry on the empirical analysis, analyzes its present status and existing problems of cost control, mainly including that the organization structure of construction project is not reasonable, cost accounting formal serious problems such as poor timeliness, and cost control system. Lead to the exact reasons for those problems are parts lead to insufficient recognition of the cost control work, workers lack of cost control and ignore the cost control of comprehensive evaluation, and so on.Through the above analysis of the construction project cost control problems and causes, establishing cost control evaluation system, including the build target systems, evaluation system, a systematic analysis of the cost control of construction projects for the construction project cost control to provide effective analysis. Finally, measures to control the cost of the construction project based on an analysis of the results, including the implementation of the plan focus on cost control process, improve construction project cost control system, improved cost control methods and so on. Through this paper, the research project cost control, the earned value method and comprehensive evaluation system into practice in order to provide guidance for the actual construction cost of construction companies operating control.
