China is the origin of tea, with tea planting area and tea production ranking first in the world. Chinese tea culture has a long history, and people of all ethnic groups in China have developed in the long term the habit of tea drinking. However, in recent years, unstrict input control during the course of tea planting, picking, processing and packing results in serious problems such as pesticide residues and heavy metal pollution. Therefore, it is of great significance to establish an effective tea quality traceability system in order to facilitate the healthy development of China's tea industry.By taking the tea in Guangxi State Farms as the object, the paper develops a tea quality traceability system based on IOT. Firstly, it designs nine technological tea quality tracing steps according to the principles and requirements of tea quality traceability system and the actual production of Guangxi State Farms Tea Group Co. Ltd. and its subordinate tea enterprises. Secondly, based on the quality traceability system of agricultural products issued by Ministry of Agriculture, and by introducing technologies such as RFID, sensor, two-dimensional code and wireless network, it constructs the total frame of tea quality traceability system based on IOT, designs eight systematic functional modules including user information and encoding management, tea planting and information collection, tea processing and information collection, quality supervision and management, tea sales management, data aggregation, information query and system maintenance and other relevant databases, and develops specialized websites and users query terminal in order that users can conduct trace information query through user's terminal. Users like farmers, production team leaders, tea inspectors, fresh leaf buyer, workshop directors, tea processing and technical personnel, warehouse keepers, group sales department personnel, tea packaging personnel and tea dealers can register and log in on different interfaces and conduct data manipulation of different levels.By applying 1OT technology to tea quality traceability system, the system realizes intelligent information collection and processing of tea trace, and improves greatly the efficiency and credibility of trace. Meanwhile, the system conducts functional module design in accordance with the long chain "planting+producing+sales" including tea planting, tea processing, tea warehouse and tea sales. The database is well-designed, full-featured and easily-operated, and the system has a user-friendly interface. Therefore, the tea quality traceability system of Guangxi State Farm based on IOT is advanced and practical.
