Abstract/Summary:
Financial industry is developing rapidly in our country, the separation of ownership and management in financial institutions, making financial institutions risk agent between the company directors and managers. As a result of the existence of moral hazard, the pursuit of self-interest maximization may lead to managerial and damage the interests of other stakeholders, frequent high executive compensation cause social public opinion in recent years, and the government pay limit, let the problem of executive pay is increasingly on the agenda, the value of individual associated with executive pay.According to the above problem, this article by SPSS software for eight commercial Banks in China from 2010 to 2014 about executive monetary compensation, bank scale, net profit, capital adequacy, non-performing loans and other financial data statistical analysis, studies and discusses the relevant executives monetary compensation, net income, bank scale, the non-performing loan ratio, capital adequacy ratio as evaluation index of the relationship between bank performance, and according to the statistical results, for executive salary, put forward the corresponding countermeasures and Suggestions. This paper is the main research methods of empirical research. The content of this article consists of five parts: the first part is introduction, mainly elaborated the research background, purpose,significance, and the research framework of the thesis and research method for the design.The second part is the related theory and literature review, mainly reviews the relevant theories about bank executive pay and the related literature at home and abroad. The third part is the eight listed Banks operating performance and executive compensation analysis and trend. The fourth part is the research design, including research framework, research hypothesis, variables definition and measurement of operation, model building, sample selection and data sources, etc. The fifth part is data analysis, as well as the core content of this research, mainly includes the research variables are descriptive analysis and correlation analysis, regression analysis was carried out on the research model to verify the hypothesis, etc. The sixth divided into policy recommendations and research prospect, in view of the statistical analysis ofthe results of this article conclusion, and suggest the bank executive compensation system on the basis of the conclusion. Due to the availability of data, at present China’s listed Banks have 16, according to the Shanghai stock exchange and shenzhen stock exchange data, we can query to the data to choose eight, for private bank we don’t have to carry on the analysis, so lack of comprehensive on object selection, there might be biased. Executive compensation has always been the focus of public concern,a reasonable salary incentive mechanism and supervision mechanism is very important to perfect our country the healthy development of financial industry. So this article will focus on executive pay and performance of the business relationship is more meaningful.
