Deployment And Implementation Of SAP MM Module In A Machinery Manufacturing Enterprise

In recent years, with China's accession to the WTO, Due to good quality of products, excellent price, China's machinery manufacturing industry entered into the international market successfully and has achieved rapid development. But at the same time, we should also see that China's machinery manufacturing industry, compared with the developed countries, there are still many problems existed, like productivity and economic low efficiency etc. These problems are due to many factors like unperfect management system, low-level technic and unprofessional IT system etc.This thesis taking implementation of SAP ERP system MM module in a machinery manufacturing enterprise as a study case, based on the guidance of SAP ASAP implementation methodology, illustrates the five steps in the SAP ERP system implementation systematically, including project preparation, business blueprint, realization, final preparation, go-live technical support and improvement, analyzes the five steps of the main tasks, working methods, the results of the work and the problems encountered during the project implementation. Especially in the business blueprint phase, explain how to analysis the specific issues in purchasing and inventory management, and re-carding the business process. Finally, through summarizing of the changes in the enterprise after implementation of the SAP ERP system and business process innovaiton, analyze efficiency enhancement and value added bringing by the implementation of the SAP ERP system in this enterprise.
