The next few years will be the critical years that new normal guides the economic and work, meanwhile, the next few years will also be an important node in the change of economic structure, the growth rate of the real estate industry, construction industry and the investment of fixed assets will slow down, that will influence the overall increase directly in business revenue of engineering cost consultation industry, the competition of engineering cost consultation industry will be more intense in our country in the future. However, the homogenization phenomenon in the industry hinders the ability development of engineering cost consultation enterprises, that makes it difficult to maintain a competitive advantage for the enterprises. Therefore, owning stable clients and keeping good relationships with clients plays a decisive role in the survival and development of engineering cost consultation enterprises. In the thesis, we try to study the problem of the cooperation relationships between engineering cost consultation enterprises and clients by symbiosis theory. The main research route is as follows:Firstly, we elaborated the basic theory involved in the thesis, principle-agent theory and symbiosis theory, then summarized the previous research and literature systematically. By literature review, summarizing the research of cooperation relationships and the development of engineering cost consultation enterprises, we concluded the achievements and insufficient of current research. Meanwhile, we analyzed the selection reason and introduce the method which we use to solve the three key problems that involved in the thesis.Secondly, from the symbiotic perspective, we analyzed the characteristics of engineering cost consultation enterprises and clients as symbiotic units, found that the two possess symbiotic compatibility, and further studied the symbiotic environment. We explained the symbiotic relationship model of engineering cost consultation enterprises and clients through Logistic equation and Lotka-Volterra equation. Based on the symbiotic model, we compared the profit of both sides in different symbiotic modes with the profit of independence, and concluded the enlightenment of cooperation relationships between engineering cost consultation enterprises and clients in different symbiotic modes.Thirdly, identified the influence factors of the cooperation relationships between engineering cost consultation enterprises and clients under the guidance of the Symbiotic Theory. By qualitative method, method of grounded theory, we interviewed 26 subjects by semi structural interview. Through data collection and screening, and reliability test, validity test and saturation test to the screened data, we built the influence factors conceptual model of the cooperation relationships between engineering cost consultation enterprises and clients, and theoretically analyzed the influence factors that recognized.Finally, we quantitatively analyzed the importance of each influence factors of the cooperation relationships between engineering cost consultation enterprises and clients by one of the intelligent optimization algorithms, particle swarm optimization. After systematically introduced the basic principle, parameters and operation process of particle swarm optimization, we compiled the questionnaire of the influence factors of the cooperation relationships, and sent out the questionnaires to the relevant personnel through paper, mail and e-mail. We got 154 validated from 220 questionnaires. By using SPSS 17.0, we made the reliability test to the questionnaire data. According to the steps of particle swarm optimization, we used Matlab 7.0 to make data non-dimensional and through programming, we got the number of iterations and the important degree of each influence factor.
