The Research On Development Strategy Of XH Company

In the 21 st century, the study on biotechnology has played an important role in human existence and development with the development of biotechnology. Many countries have developed biotechnology as a national strategy. China also has attached great importance to the development of biotechnology and made a series of plans to vigorously promote its rapid development in recent years. Biotechnology faces unprecedented opportunities and a lot of challenges as well in China where the market potential is viewed as vast. So it is an urgent task to make a feasible development strategy to improve XH company core competitiveness.This thesis applies the strategy theory to XH company. To begin with, the thesis analyzes XH company external, industrial and internal environment and evaluates its external and internal factors by EFE and IFE matrices. And then, XH company alternative strategy comes into being by using SWOT matrix to assess and match these factors. In further, it comes to the conclusion that product development and market penetration are the best strategic combination by using QSPM matrix to evaluate alternative plans. At last, the thesis proposes a series of improvements on corporate governance, human resources, innovations, finance, marketing and corporate culture to make sure the implement of the strategy. It also introduces evaluation frame and methods of its implementation.This thesis takes XH company for example and works out the strategy on XH development by the method of intergrading theory with practice. On one hand, it provides reference for company top management to develop strategies. On the other hand, it is conductive to make the company strategic management scientific.
