With the development of economic globalization and financial system reform gradually thorough, the interest income of the traditional deposit as the main source of profit of commercial bank, the profit space gradually compressed, large-scale commercial bank’s net interest income growth has generally been declining, the most seriously decreased is the bank of communications, decreased from 27.7% in 2010 to 3.2% in 2014.And the electronic banking business which is based on the emerging information technology, with its rich quick, convenient, functional features, is gradually accepted by more and more users, and its replacement rate is increased rapidly year by year, the current average counter replacement rate is as high as 81.9%, its contribution to commercial Banks operating profit rising. It’s obvious that Electronic banking business is contribution to commercial Banks, but at this present, electronic bank business development also has certain constraints. Electronic banking business’s requirements on technical environment are relatively high, large upfront costs and effectively integrate with the traditional business is difficult, customer groups have different acceptance and other issues. Therefore, the problem that the electronic banking business has how much contribution to the performance of commercial banks becomes one of the most concern of commercial Banks currently, this is the purpose of study.Related literature research at home and abroad mostly focused on the ownership structure, bank scale, market structure and financial index’s effect on the performance of commercial Banks, but in the face of the background that the electronic banking business gradually replaces the bank counter business, it is very necessary to analyze the effect of the business restructuring to bank performance. Mainly by adding electronic banking to commercial banks performance evaluation system, this article is to analyzing the impact electronic banking business to the performance of commercial Banks in China. This paper analyzes the present situation of electronic banking business, and through the analysis of the influence the electronic banking business to the fees and commissions and the analysis of the influence the fee and commission income on the operating income, and it is indirectly concluded that the electronic banking business impact on Banks operating income. Through the DEA method, electronic banking revenues as a part of the input indicators to measure the impact that the electronic banking business on the business performance of Chinese commercial Banks. According to the conclusion combined by the empirical analysis and theoretical analysis, this article gives advices to the commercial Banks in China how to improve their business performance and how to improve and develop the electronic banking business.
