With the rapid development of society and the widespread application of internet technology,the competition in the financial market is becoming increasingly fierce,leading to a clear homogenization of banking products.In this context,all banks have recognized the importance of "winning customers is equivalent to owning the market".China’s financial market is moving towards interest rate liberalization,and internet finance is also rapidly emerging,which has led to the gradual narrowing of the gap between traditional banking deposit and lending businesses,and the traditional business profit space of commercial banks is constantly being compressed.In order to cope with this situation,domestic commercial banks urgently need to transform and develop new market areas.In this regard,retail business has become an important field for commercial banks to compete for customers and expand market share.By creating a good customer experience,providing differentiated products and services,and optimizing channel layout,commercial banks can better meet the financing needs of individuals and small and micro enterprises,and improve their operating income level.Electronic banking products have become an important means for commercial banks to expand retail business due to their many advantages such as improving customer convenience and experience,reducing bank operating costs,and expanding bank market coverage.In recent years,the retail business of GQ Rural Commercial Bank has developed rapidly,and it has achieved certain results in the development process,but also faced many difficulties.Improving and optimizing the development of retail business is one of the most important tasks of GQ Rural Commercial Bank at present.Based on the development of domestic and foreign banking retail business,and combined with the advantages of electronic banking products,this article takes GQ Rural Commercial Bank as an example to analyze the current development status of its retail business using research methods such as literature analysis,case investigation,and comprehensive analysis.It analyzes the reasons for the existence of retail business in GQ Rural Commercial Bank,and based on this,combined with the experience of the development of retail business of other domestic and foreign commercial banks,proposes suggestions for the development strategy of GQ Rural Commercial Bank’s retail business based on electronic banking products.The author hopes that through the research analysis combining theory and practice in this article,some suggestions can be provided for the improvement and optimization of retail business of county-level local commercial banks like GQ Rural Commercial Bank,so as to better promote the development of GQ Rural Commercial Bank’s retail business.
