| Now, with the rapid development of the global economy, more and more countries and regions of the enterprises have not only satisfied the domestic market for profit, and turn their attention to the overseas market, which makes the competition of the international market more fierce. While China joining the World Trade Organization over the years, the domestic enterprises have withstood all kinds impact from the global market finally gain a foothold. From the amount of growth in global trade, the overall contraction of the previous year, the average increase of 2 percentage points. From the US perspective, annual imports and exports rose only one percentage point higher than the average level, the European Union and Japan fell by 0.5% and 2.5% respectively. By contrast, Chinese Foreign Trade significantly improved, much higher than the average growth rate, trading power status has been a considerable degree of strengthening. At April 14, 2015 the World Trade Organization announced in 2014 the total import and export of trade statistics, China ranked first in the world for two consecutive years, the total trade volume reached US $43030 billion dollars.2014, total import and export trade in Jiangsu Province over the previous year increased by 2.3 percentage points, of up to 5,000 billion US dollars. The small and medium-sized enterprises have made great contributions. Followed by accession to the footsteps of the world trade organization, small and medium enterprises in Jiangsu province has been growing, becoming a "going out" on the road of a large army. In the context of economic integration, to adapt to the trend of globalization, how to seize market share, meet challenges, access to development opportunities, has become a serious problem to SMEs need to solve.Because the market environment, policy support and political factors are different in various countries and regions, it is difficult for us to copy some of the strategies adopted by the developed countries to improve the international competitiveness of SMEs. No country or region’s development framework can be fully applied to the small and medium enterprises in Jiangsu province. This paper analyzes the status of small and medium enterprises in Jiangsu Province, through 12 mature indicators of Jiangsu province to measure the international competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises, and the use of factor analysis method to calculate the 12 quantitative indicators. The evaluation system of the international competitiveness of small and medium enterprises in Jiangsu Province, according to the 5 main factors that influence the international competitiveness of the international competitiveness of the evaluation system, aiming at the further improvement of the international competitiveness of SMEs in Jiangsu province. This paper analyzes the current actual, based on the feasibility of the measures provided. |
