Study On Optimized Spatial Distribution Of Rural Settlements In Wangcheng

Rural residential is the main place of production and living to the rural residents,and the rural residential space layout is the comprehensive result of the regional natural, social, economic and cultural and other factors.Studying on the rural residential space layout is an important content of the research on rural settlement geography. Wangcheng district is our country’s important commodity grain production base. With a large number of rural population, rural residential development lacking of unified planning, rural residential extension of the expansion rapidly and scattered layout disorder, there is serious threat to the cultivated land resources in Wangcheng district and the national food security. Therefore,the research on the rural residential layout in Wangcheng district, which is an important guiding role for the Issues of agriculture, farmer and rural area and the coordinated development in urban and rural area.This article aims to do some research in Wangcheng district by applying the methods which combine the GIS space analyze and the landscape ecology,taking advantage of the data source of the rural residential area in 2013. At the same time,making a systemic survey about the rural residential space layout,characteristic and some existent problems and proposing a feasible measure to optimize these issues.The study found that the gap among the quantity,acreage and the density of plaque in Wangcheng district were large,the largest quantity of rural residential plaque is 5179 and the least is only 568, there is a nearly 10 times gap between them.The street office which has the biggest plaque acreage takes 26.79% of the total rural residential area in the district,the plaque acreage in the eastern town is the least one,which is only takes 3.79% of the total rural residential area in the district.The Leifeng town has the highest plaque density which is 277.90/hm2 and the Qiaoyi town has the least plaque density which is 115.04/hm2.The rural residential space layout has a highly dependency of the road and river, which means there is a characteristic that the closer between the road and river leads to the bigger quantity and scale of the rural residential.At the same time,the rural residential space layout has some problems like the same function in all towns,the non-obvious superiority of central town,the weak infrastructure,the quality need to be further improved,the rural residential scale is small,the scattered rural residential layout,the average of rural residential acreage is too large,a householder have multiple houses etc.Based on these problems,the article puts forward the optimized model for the rural residential space layout including the prior developing type,the limited developing type and the prohibited developing type.In addition,the article puts forward some optimized and regulated strategy as the coordinated development in urban and rural area,improving the ecological environment,accelerating the process of the construction in open comprehensive transportation,cultivating characteristic central town,strengthening the construction of rural infrastructure,improving the social security system and so on.
