Research Of Remanufacturing Strategies For Enterprise Based On Patent Protection

With deteriorating of natural environment and increasing of population, the natural resources began to become increasingly scarce. In order to protect the environment, many experts and organizations began to study the remanufacturing of waste products. And they went through, it was discovered remanufacturing not only bring significant environmental benefits, but also bring huge economic benefits. So more and more enterprises began to join in the remanufacturing industry. However, remanufacturing involve intellectual property problem. In the process of remanufacturing, enterprises are often caught in intellectual property disputes. So enterprises must consider remanufacturing patent licensing during the manufacturing decisions. Today studies of remanufacturing patent licensing have focused on the perspective of law, there are very few papers on the perspective of management.Firstly, this paper briefly introduces the research background and significance of remanufacturing, puts forward the patent licensing issues that many enterprises have to face in the remanufacturing process. Then it represents the research ideas and content, reviews the related literature about remanufacturing.Secondly, by segment primary consumer and green consumer, this paper studies the manufacturer remanufacturing model with patent protection based on the differences between new products and remanufactured products. Through establishing Stackelberg game model of low pricing strategy and high pricing strategy, the optimal price of new products and remanufactured products, the optimal profit of manufacturer and retailer were derived.Thirdly, this paper studies the remanufacturer remanufacturing model with patent protection based on the differences between new products and remanufactured products. Through establishing Stackelberg game model of sole licensing strategy and exclusive licensing strategy, the optimal price of new products and remanufactured products, the optimal profit of manufacturer, remanufacturer and retailer were derived.Finally, by example analysis for manufacturer and remanufacturer remanufacturing model with patent protection, the impacts of the green consumer's proportion, the impacts of the original manufacturer remanufacturing proportion, the impacts of advertising level for remanufactured products on the optimal price, profit and patent protection fee were analyzed, respectively. Then this paper use actual enterprise as subject and given the critical condition of enterprise to adopt different strategies.
