With the development of global technology and social economy and the increasing of product replacement rate,a lot of end of life(EOL)products are emerging.That has caused not only great waste of resources but also some damage and pollution of the environment.The recycling and remanufacturing of EOL products is of giant importance to cope with a shortage of global natural resources and environmental pollution.Government already have developed laws and regulations for the recycling and remanufacturing of EOL products to restrict manufacturer.It carry out recycling manufacturing activities based on the extended producer responsibility(EPR)system.The remanufacturing of IP products have to get the original manufacturer's patent license as the same time turning patent licensing fees to it since IP(intellectual property)has been increasing emphasis.Therefore,research on EOL products recycling and remanufacturing modes in the Closed-loop Supply Chain(CLSC)and incentive mechanism to recycling remanufacturer considering patent protection and government constrains has important significance for the social-economic sustainable development.Based on the existing research results of domestic and foreign scholars,study on EOL products recycling and remanufacturing modes of manufacturer(leader)in the CLSC and incentive mechanism between manufacturer and recycling remanufacturer has been finished in this paper by the use of literature review method,game analysis,comparative approach and example analysis.The main contents of the research in thispaper include the following aspects:(1)Only with patent licensing from the original manufacturer can a third-party remanufacturer recycle and remanufacture end-of-life products.A remanufacturing CLSC system was constructed based on game theory comprising three different modes: manufacturer recycling and remanufacturing mode,retailer recycling and manufacturer remanufacturing mode,recycling and remanufacture mode.The analysis on decision-making of related enterprises were carried out for the three modes.It shows that when the unit premium and penalty factor is less than a specific value,the mode,retailer recycling and manufacturer remanufacturing,is the optimal.When the unit premium and penalty factor is great than that specific value,the mode,remanufacturer recycling and remanufacturing,is the optimal.(2)Based on research framework of principal-agent theory,incentive mechanism between manufacturer and recycling remanufacturer under complete and incomplete information considering patent protection and government constrains has been discussed.The analysis on incentive theory model of between manufacturer and recycling remanufacturer were carried out.The results show that expected revenue of manufacturer and CLSC system is the best under complete information.Under incomplete information,compared with the pooling contract,the screening contract is more effective to achieve the type screening,as well as to reach the recycling remanufacturer's high-validity motivation.This paper conducts a model analysis of EOL products recycling and remanufacturing modes in the CLSC and incentive mechanism to recycling remanufacturer considering patent protection and government constrains and summary.The conclusions contribute to developing economy,environmental protection and sustainable socially.
