Design And Implementation Of NFC Payment Solution Based On Host Card Emulation

With the ubiquity of smart devices and the rapid development of near field communication, mobile payment services have also been widely used. NFC technology is secure, quick and simple, in which it has become one of the most popular technology.The mainstream NFC payment solutions present are based on a secure element(SE), it consists of three parts: mobile phone, NFC module and secure element. The payment app is carried in the SE, the NFC module is in charge of the communication between mobile phone and payment equipment. These solutions are hugely dependent on hardwares and the mobile payment value chain is longer. The host card emulation(HCE) support direct communications between NFC module and the operating system,whice is excepted to solve those probles. But HCE technology has the problem of insecurity, which shoudle be considered and solved when we use it.Analyzed the mainstream NFC payment solutions present, designed a safe solution based on HCE. The solution contains an app of Android system and a SE which to make up the defect. The App handles the unsensitive operation, and the secure element handles the sensitive operation and stores the important datas. Besides, designing a secure data transport protocol to make sure the security of communication. At the same time, divide different process logical based on the classification of different transaction instructions. Then, in view of the problem of data communication path is too long, we also put forward the optimization method. The security of the solution reached the request of financial payment. Besides, the solution reduces the dependence on the hardware and shorten the mobile payment industry chain, which is of high practical value.
