Under the background of economic globalization, the economy of china has been developed rapidly, but also encountered some challenges at the same time, as the enterprise become more and more informative and diversified, its internal and external environment changed a lot, the traditional enterprise management mode can not well encounter the changes and challenges. For a long time, how to make the enterprises cope with the changes and challenges and get the sustainable competitiveness, achieved great development is a difficult problem troubled enterprise managers. As we all know, the human capital is different from general capital, it is irreplaceable and inimitable, therefore, the enterprise obtain the core human capital is of vital important. The Human Resource Practices include a series of policies, such as education, motivation and retention people, which is closely related to human capital and research human resource practice is very important to improve enterprise performance.High performance work system consists of a series of human resource practice, firstly, the system provide training opportunities for staff, job rotations and other measures to improve the staff's ability and skill, which further increases the employee's job performance. Secondly, the high performance work systems provide the incentive compensation, profit sharing, and the performance evaluation of instructional to increase the motivation of employees to work hard, and increase the work performance. Finally, the high performance work systems give employees the opportunity to participate in decision-making and career development to improve the work performance. In recent years, researching the relationship of high performance work system and work performance between international and domestic is increasingly rich, there are many researches about the mechanism of high performance work system and work performance, but this was the first time to study the role of the relationship between them from the perspective of personal resources.After review the existing theory and previous research conclusion, this study intends to explore the mechanism of high performance work system and employee performance and its related assumptions. Do some questionnaire survey about different personnel from Shandong, Zhejiang, Hubei and other provinces. Collect about 400 date. Then, with the help of SPSS, AMOS, HLM and the other statistical softwares, we analyzed the date and found that most of the original hypotheses were supported. The results showed that:(1) The high performance work system had a significant positive effect on employees' work performance and Organizational Citizenship Behavior.(2) The positive effect of high performance work system on employees' work performance and Organizational Citizenship Behavior were mediated by thriving.(3) The need for achievement moderated the relationship between high performance work system and thriving. The result showed: the high performance work system was less strongly associated with employees' work performance and Organizational Citizenship Behavior when the staff' need for achievement is high.Finally, the theoretical and managerial implications of the findings, limitations, and future research directions were discussed.
