Since the end of the20th century, the conception of High Performance WorkSystem (HPWS) has been carried out by western research scholars, which aroused theattention of the academic circles. Foreign research scholars have conducted a lot ofresearch and have achieved many valuable results. The research on HPWS startedrelatively late at home, but scholars had enough enthusiasm, also had achieved fruitfulresults. Although many scholars pay close attention to the predictive effect on HPWS toorganizational performance, these researches more like "black box" models. The studyon how HPWS affects on employee individual performance still needs to be rich.Inaddition, from the individual perspective, research on exploration of HPWS impacts onemployee individual performance mechanism is also relatively deficient. With the realand theoretical needs, from the individual perspective, we used OrganizationalCitizenship Behavior (OCB) as a mediator to explore the impact of perceived HPWS toemployee individual performance. Based on the empirical research of ZS Company, themajor results as follows:(1)The perceived HPWS and employee individual performancehas positive correlation;(2)The perceived HPWS and OCB has positive correlation;(3)OCB and employee individual performance has positive correlation;(4)Therelationship between the perceived HPWS and employee individual performance ismediated by OCB;(5)There are significant differences when the perceived HPWS, OCBand employee individual performance influenced by the individual backgroundcharacteristics. Finally, the thesis discusses the research on how to improve employeeindividual performance in the obviously promoting measures of human resourcemanagement, and makes a summary of the study limitations and research prospects.
