In a complex competitive environment, the company's most scarce intellectual capital and skills owned by the knowledge-based employees become the core foundation of the modern enterprise resource. Therefore how to establish an effective incentive system, fully mobilize their enthusiasm and creativity, has always been human resource management core issues.On the basis of Motivation Theory, this thesis reviews the relative literatures in the field and concentrates on the study of the problems about the management of knowledge based employees, studies on the management and encouragement of the knowledge-based employees of the GUODIAN Nanjing Automation Corporation. Firstly, this thesis introduces the concept of knowledge workers, summarizes and analyzes the status of research knowledge workers. And then explores the status of the company's development and current market complex and competitive situation that the company is facing. Secondly, this thesis combines the GUODIAN Nanjing Automation Corporation human resources management situation as well as existing knowledge workers evaluation and incentive mechanism, optimizes the existing incentive system, tries to build a more sophisticated and effective knowledge-based staff appraisal and incentive mode, including employment reform mechanisms, dynamic staff management, reasonable performance evaluation system, employee compensation incentives to optimize and improve measures and other non-material incentive mechanisms. Finally this thesis analyzes the policy safeguards of the company. This thesis tries to discuss how to maximize the incentive incentives with limited resources owned by the company, mobilize the enthusiasm of more knowledge workers and retain their core talent and ultimately reach the objectives of enhancing the company's core competitiveness.
