The21st Century is a vital century. China's economy will make its own hugecontribution to the worldwide economy. With the social progress anddevelopment of the times, the tertiary industry especially the tourism industrywill own a golden period of development which supported by the governmentdepartments at all levels of domestic. The World Tourism Organization foretellsChina will become the first tourist destination nation and the4th largest exporterof tourists in10years. Facing this precious development opportunity, how toestablish its own strategic planning of tourism development will become animportant research topic for those tourism entities.This paper takes Yuntai Mountain scenic spot as the research object, baseson strategic management theory. After discussing the developments of YuntaiMountain's external environment, internal resources and ability, the author takereasonable matching and formulate the tourism development strategy of YuntaiMountain scenic spot. It will share useful proposal for the Yuntai Mountain. Also,It will provide theoretical reference for government departments and similarscenic spots.The first part of the thesis is introduction which overall describe of thetourism industry and analysis the research achievement at home and abroad. Thispart also indicated that it is necessary to make the development strategy of YuntaiMountain scenic spot and constructed the research frame. Next is the profile ofYuntai Mountain and development stage decision made according to the serviceproduct life cycle theory. After studying the internal and external environment ofYuntai Mountain scenic spot and industry environment, Yuntai Mountain'sexternal opportunities, threats and its own strengths and weaknesses author buildSWOT matrix. Based on the analysis of factors, combined with strategic goal andpositioning of Yuntai Mountain scenic spot, evaluate and choose a futuredevelopment strategy. The fifth chapter put forward the concrete measures ofstrategy and safeguard mechanism. The last part is the evaluation on thedevelopment strategy of Yuntai Mountain scenery spot.
