Research On Supply Chain Management Improvement Of Hunan Netcom

Since the1990's, more and more enterprises have been developing into thesupply chain management, which has been looked upon as the powerful method forthe long-term development. With the global economic integration, competitionbecomes more fierce in telecommunication industry. How to create a modernizedenterprise operation mechanism in an increasingly tough competitive situation is thegreate challenge that China Network Communications Group Corporation, HunanBranch, which is Hunan Netcom for short faces.This paper firstly constructs the theoretical basis through the introduction ofsupply chain related theories and literature review, then it analyzes the currentsituation and the problems of supply chain management in Hunan Netcom, based onwhich it brings forward the improvement methods and measures. At last it putsforward the implementation strategies and safeguard measures.On the basis of supply chain management status analysis, we find out someproblems in supply chain management, which are given in four aspects: procurement,supplier, inventory and informationization. In the third chapter, this paper putsforward procurement, supplier and inventory management schemes, also withprocurement and logistics supply chain informationization scheme, aims at the basicrealization of e-procurement and e-management of materials, and eventually carrysout closed-loop management. At the end, it puts forward implementation strategiesfrom reengineering the internal processes, strengthening the incentive and restraintmechanisms in the procurement management and making strategy for logistics andsupply chain informationization, also with some security measures, includingorganization setting, the establishment of supply chain management performanceevaluation index system, employee training and finanical support.
