Design And Implementation Of The General College Teaching Administration System Based On J2EE

With the further popularization of higher education in China,the increasingly expanding scale and constantly rising enrollment of Chinese colleges and universities has escalated the increasing intensity of educational administration.In particular,to guarantee the quality of Chinese higher education and to meet the demands of the increasingly fierce competition in the world,China has launched a new round of teaching evaluation and assessment for various majors among Chinese colleges and universities.The traditional teaching administrative models,especially the existing teaching administrative systems have been proven to be less effective,which failed to meet the needs of China's higher educational development.At present,the construction of digital campus has become an important means to improve the management level and enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of universities.With educational administration being the core of the school,the use of digital means of managing teaching administration so as to improve the level of educational administration plays an important role.The campus information system based on B/S has become the first choice of university management with its own low cost and rich open source framework.On this basis,the construction of University Educational Administration system can greatly improve the efficiency of its educational administration.This paper,based on an insightful analysis of the current teaching administrative systems home and abroad as well as the existing problems with the teaching administration in our school,proposes to establish a better teaching administrative system in gear for our school in terms of both the current needs and future need possibilities.The proposed system will consist of three major sections for different users,namely,the administrators,the teachers and students,which may be further optimized into four major modules such as the System Management,teacher management,student management,and teaching management.These four modules can also expand into another 17 sub-modules: user management,role management,achievement management and teaching operation management and the alike.Compared with those traditional teaching administrative systems,this proposed system based on the thorough needs analysis in the pre-construction period features itself prominently as follows:(1)more users-friendly with a refined simplified interface since this system is framed upon java EE and B/S Mode architecture design;(2)highly optimized platform for both teachers,teaching administrative staff and students for a smoother management process as well as improved efficiency.(3)Excellent feasibility,impressive stability and guaranteed security.From the feedbacks of the postestablishment period,this system has justified itself as effective enough into high gear for further digitalization in our school as well as for our current teaching administrative needs.
