One of the most important factors is leakage of the transmitter signal into thereceiver in CW radar, especially in a single antenna. When a single antenna and highpower in CW radar was used, one of the greatest problems facing the designers of CWtype radars is firstly that of achieving sufficient isolation. This paper presented isolationbetween transmitter and receiver of a single antenna using RPC (Reflected PowerCanceller) and circulator techniques in LFMCW (Linear Frequency ModulatedContinuous Wave ) radar, and the isolation was up to 50dB.Firstly, this paper introduced the principle, the advantages and the disadvantage ofLFMCW radar. It presented the influence of leakage between transmitter and receiverand measures of settling the leakage. It gave guideline of Reflected Power Canceller.Secondly, this paper described the principle of cancellation and the scheme ofReflected Power Canceller, and analyzed this scheme.At last, this paper introduced choice of elements and the process of debugging. Itanalyzed the result and gave conclusion of this experiment.
