With the continuous enrichment of network services such as mobile social networking,virtual reality,cloud computing and big data,the amount of information that the network needs to transmit is increasing which brings huge transmission pressure to existing networks.Although upgrading hardware and increasing network bandwidth can solve some of the pressures,it is usually accompanied by high costs.Therefore existing network information transmission technologies have been difficult to adapt to the high-efficiency transmission requirements of current massive information.How to improve the transmission efficiency of the network has become an issue of increasing concern in the industry.It has been proposed to combine SDN/NFV technology with Network Coding(NC)and use NFV technology to solve the difficulty of NC deployment in practical application scenarios while making the network as close as possible to the "Maximum Flow Minimum Cut" capacity ceiling.However the current research on the cooperative work of SDN/NFV technology and network coding mainly focuses on the simple addition or implementation of the two solutions.Although these work have verified the feasibility and effectiveness of network coding in SDN networks,they have not yet been fully implemented to take advantage of the potential advantages of deep collaboration between SDN/NFV and NC.In this environment,this paper first proposes and defines Network Orchestrated Coding(NOC)to make full use of the respective advantages of SDN/NFV technology and network coding technology.Based on this it designs two algorithms and does simulation verification for two specific scenarios.The main contributions of this article are:1)The network orchestrated coding technology is proposed and defined at first time.To refine the study point of network orchestrated coding technology,Polymorphic Flow Learning,Recognition and Correlation technology(PF-LRC)and Network Orchestrated Coding-Logical Orchestrating Strategy(NOC-LOS)are proposed,and introduces their implementation framework.2)A specific implementation of the NOC-LOS strategy:a code node selection algorithm that can guarantee the specified multicast rate for reserved multicast traffic in SDN network(NOCNS).As the SDN controller masters the global traffic information,it can schedule the multicast traffic in advance.The algorithm uses the genetic algorithm and the network coding algebra theory as the basis to find the coding nodes in the network.3)Propose a realization of PF-LRC technology that is to find the inter-stream coding conditions,and under this condition put forward another implementation of NOC-LOS strategy a flow-oriented cooperative coding method(FCC)of SDN network.FCC applies the Connected Dominating Set-based and Flow-oriented Coding-aware Routing(CFCR)to the SDN network.FCC is kind of scenario innovation.NOCNS algorithm and FCC method are the implementation of network orchestrated coding technology.Both can find the coding opportunities in the network and effectively combine SDN and network coding to improve the network transmission efficiency.
