The power divider/combiner is a key passive component in the communication system.It is difficult to achieve high lever output power especially in the millimeter wave band.The power combining methods are used to improve the output power of the system.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study the millimeter-wave power divider/combiner technology.In addition,the filter is also an important part of the communication system.The ultra-wideband communication technology has attracted extensive attention because of its advantages such as large space capacity,fast transmission rate,and strong penetrability etc..Therefore,research on ultra-wideband filters is also of great significance.Firstly,this thesis analyzes and summarizes the structures of traditional power dividers such as waveguide E-T junction,3dB branch waveguide directional coupler,and waveguide magic T,which are simulated and optimized by using electromagnetic simulation software HFSS.Then,an improved magic T structure with high isolation is optimized,processed and measured.In addition,we have proposed a four-way and sixteen-way spatial waveguide power dividers based on radial waveguide structures.The probe transition and finline transition used for power combining technology are presented.This thesis have analyzed and summarized three kinds of power divider/combiner networks,which are a four-way network based on a 3dB branch waveguide directional coupler,a two-way network based on an improved waveguide magic T with a driver stage and a four-way network based on a radial waveguide.Finally,the two-way divider/combiner network with driver stage was fabricated and measured.Secondly,this thesis introduces the theory of multimode resonators and odd-even mode analysis method.Then,an ultra-wideband filter is proposed and simulated,which is analied by using odd-even mode method.According to simulation results,the UWB filter was fabricated and measured.
