With 3 millimeter wave systems are widely used in many fields as communication,radar,electronic warfare,high-power and ultra wideband 3 millimeter emission system plays a more important role in the whole system,due to the limitation of the 3 millimeter wave single solid-state power amplifier,so it is very important to the research of ultra wideband 3 millimeter wave power synthesis network.In this paper,the basic index of the power synthesis network is introduced,and the synthesis efficiency of the binary power synthesis technology is analyzed.Based on the basic theory of rectangular waveguide,ridge waveguide and ridge gap waveguide,a power combiner network based on ridge gap waveguide and power combiner network with ridge waveguide coplanar magic T is designed.The main research results of this paper are as follows:This paper designed 3 millimeter wave ridge gap waveguide two-way power combining based on network,and processed the back-to-back structure ridge gap waveguide two-way power combiner.The test results show that in 75GHz-1 10GHz,the S11 is less than-15dB and the insertion loss is less than 1.2dB.The waveguide coplanar magic T dual/four road power synthesis network structure based on the ridge waveguide probe coupling in 3 millimeter wave band is designed and processed respectively.The test results show that in 75GHz-110GHz,the two-way power combining network,the insertion loss is less than 0.5,the port return loss is less than-16dB,between the two output port isolation is greater than 17dB;for four power combining network,the insertion loss is less than 0.9,the port return loss is less than-14.5dB,the output of each port between the isolation of more than 15.5dB.Based on the theory of E surface waveguide microstrip probe,a waveguide probe structure of 3 millimeter wave band is developed.Simulation results show:in 75GHz-110GHz,the insertion loss is less than 0.12 dB,the port return loss is less than-22dB.The single circuit power amplifier module is designed and processed,simulation results show that:in 92GHz-96GHz,the maximum gain is 18.17dB@92.5GHz,the maximum output power is 23.14dBm@92.2GHz.A waveguide coplanar magic T power combining network based on ridge waveguide probe coupling is designed and fabricated for a 3 millimeter wave power combining amplifier.Simulation results show:in 92GHz-96GHz,the maximum output power is 28.41 dBm@92.2GHz;the maximum synthesis efficiency is 87.08%@92.4GHz.
