Naked-eye 3D display can give people 3D experience without additional equipment and provide stereoscopic images freely from multiple viewpoints in large angular range,so it become the main study direction of the 3D display.It can greatly reduce the cost of the exhibition by using high-definition stereoscopic images instead of objects in museums,technology museums and real estate exhibitions,etc.Therefore,naked eye 3D display can generate enormous economic value in the field of objects exhibitions.This Thesis conducts a study on naked eye 3D display sand table for the exhibition activity.This Thesis has completed the study of grating of the naked eye 3D display sand table based on Parallax Barrier and realized the preparation of the prototype.The innovative points of this Thesis was that I studied a new method to design naked eye 3D display sand table based on Parallax Barrier.When the viewer stood in front of traditional Slit grating type naked eye 3D display which was tilted,the viewer could observe crosstalk on it.My design can eliminate crosstalk which was observed on the traditional naked-eye 3D display,and then I completed the preparation of the prototype based on my design.The specific contents of this Thesis are as follows:1.The theory of binocular parallax is studied,and the optical models of traditional cylindrical lens and naked eye 3D display based on Parallax Barrier are analyzed,then reveal the relationships of the parameters of the traditional slit grating optical model of the naked eye 3D display.2.The phenomenon of crosstalk image of the traditional Slit grating type naked eye 3D display which is placed in a certain angle ? is studied,and then the case of crosstalk images is obtained by analyzing the crosstalk images,finally,I proposed a method to eliminate crosstalk.3.According to my method of eliminating crosstalk,I proposed a new design of grating of the naked eye 3D display sand table based on Parallax Barrier,the calculation formula of width of each part of the slit and the relationships of angle ?,glass substrate thickness and optimal viewing distance are derived.Then the method is verified on tracepro7.0,prove the proposed method is feasible.The prototype is completed and tested.It could provide stereoscopic images without crosstalk.4.According to the requirements of the 3D video source playing for naked-eye 3D display sand table based on Parallax Barrier,an video processing circuit based on FPGA is designed to convert the 3D video source from the left and right format and the top and bottom format to the 3D video format required by the display.And FPGA was used to complete the movement of the image sub-pixels.The movement of the image sub-pixels could decrease crosstalk which was observed when the position of the human eye changed.
