With the development of radar technology and stealth technology,active radars inevitably have some defects.In this case,new system passive radars gradually start to be practical as anti-radiation missiles because they have many advantages that active radars do not have.However,since passive radar uses the electromagnetic signal radiated by the target itself to obtain information,it has very little prior information,which undoubtedly increases the difficulty of obtaining information by passive radar.This thesis aims at the characteristics of the new system passive radar,and studies the main technologies involved in passive radar,including target direction finding technology,target sorting technology,target parameter estimation technology,and the hardware-efficient implementation of these technologies.For radar tracking the target accurately and steadily,we must have the ability to acquire the information of the target azimuth.This thesis studies the direction-finding algorithm of the interferometer system commonly used in passive radar,and discusses the two types of antennas: circular and cross.The antennas layout methods' advantages and disadvantages are studied.The importance of baseline design is forwarded.Then,through simulation,the direction-finding performance and boundary conditions of this system under different conditions are analyzed.Finally,the requirement of hardware resources for the interferometer system direction-finding technology is analyzed.In addition to the target azimuth information,there are many pulse parameter information.These pulse parameter information is very important for radar target recognition and target sorting.Therefore,this thesis focuses on several common signal types parameter estimation methods.Through the establishment of signals' mathematical models,their characteristics and parameter estimation algorithms are analyzed.Finally,the performance of these estimation algorithms is analyzed through data simulation.Radar target sorting technology is very important for passive radars.This thesis studies the traditional sorting algorithms CDIF and SDIF based on statistical histograms,and then studies several modern clustering methods based on in-pulse parameters.According to the characteristics of clustering algorithms,some pre-processing processes that need to be done before clustering are discussed.Finally,combined with the realization,an efficient algorithm structure of target library matching is given.This thesis also combines the hardware platform.This thesis has introduced the hardware architecture and software architecture.In order to meet the real-time system,this thesis studied several software optimization techniques.At the end of this thesis,some of the tests and tests' data for this system are studied.
