Design And Implementation Of Staff Travel Management System For Lishan District Government

With the increasing contacts between government agencies and the outside world,staff travelling has become an important part in their career.Government agencies cooperate with the outside world through the form of staff travelling for projects bidding,projects acceptance,engineering supervision,exchange learning,and other tasks.The completion of these tasks can greatly improve the economic profits and promote the quality of livelihood construction of the government.However,with the increasing frequency of employee travelling,the management of travel process has become the core issue affecting the efficiency of the staff.On the one hand,staff need to spend a lot of time to book tickets or hotels,and record the travel time and content;on the other hand,staff need to manage all the bills,calculate expenses,and complete reimbursement.These works result in a great deal of waste of time,which seriously affect the efficiency of the staff.Therefore,how to design an efficient way to manage the travel process of staff and avoid unnecessary waste in travel has become an important issue that many government agencies are concerning about.This paper takes Lishan district government in Anshan city as an example to solve the important problems in staff travel.This paper designs and implements a travel management system for staff in Lishan district government.The system includes five main modules,including travel task management,reservation management,reimbursement management,travel analysis and system management.This system can solve the problems of staff in managing the materials about the travel,and further enhance the quality of staff travel.At last the system improves the overall efficiency of Lishan district government.The system is completed with B/S architecture,developed with Java and J2 EE technology,use SQL Server database for data storage,and use the rule-based method for travel exception detection.This paper describes the requirements analysis,design,implementation and testing of the system.The testing results show that the system can meet the needs of Lishan district government on staff travel management,and improves the working efficiency of the government.
