With the rapid development of human genome sequencing technology,Single Nucleotide Polymorphism(SNP)plays an important role in the study of genetics.Research institutions have accumulated a large amount of experimental data in this research field,how to get useful information from mass data and realize data sharing are problems need to be solved.Database as the core and basis of database system,its performance gets widespread concerned in the industry and database performance optimization is very important for the normal operation of the system.This article is mainly about the construction and optimization of human SNP database query system based on Web,to realize the goals of SNP data query and database performance optimization.The work of build a secondary bioinformatics database HuSNP based on SQ L Server mainly includes the database design,download the SNP data and data storage.All the SNP data comes from NCBI,stored all the download raw data in the local database.This system uses a popular development framework,which combining IIS and ASP and SQ L Server for developing a Web server application in the Windows environment,using B/S structure.To solve the database performance optimization problem,this paper outlines the concept of performance optimization,optimization goals,optimization strategies and optimization steps.Database performance tuning and optimization involve several levels,tuning applications,tuning the operating system and hardware as the main content of study will be carried on the detailed discussion and analysis.Summarizes the essence,purpose,methods and skills of the SQ L statements optimization,rules of the index creation and reasonable use.In this paper,some data is retrieved from the HuSNP database and give comments,achieves the desired data retrieval requirements.Finally,the Load Runner is used to test the result of database optimization based on an overall adjustment strategy,compared with the performance indicators before optimization,system response time shortened obviously,reach the expected aims.User can query the SNP data quickly by the HuSNP database system,it provides a basic SNP data sharing platform for researchers in the field.
