With the rapid development of computer technology,as a kind of computer emulation in teaching and education of scientific computing tools and engineering design has an important application in two areas.In the field of science education,the use of computer simulation technology can simulate a virtual experimental environment,play the role of virtual labs.In the field of engineering,scientists can by means of computer simulation research on needed object establish a theoretical model,and through computer programming,get results and program optimization,and then implemented on experimental research in physics.This article mainly discusses computer simulation applications in laser THz research.Using MATLAB software on the basis of numerous theories establishes optics simulation system,simulation results are consistent with the basic simulation.Including: simulation of common optical phenomena: optical interference,a circular aperture;the current latest Terahertz-wave simulation: different carrier relaxation time,carrier lifetime and pulse width corresponds to the small aperture photoconductive switch far field radiation THz-wave waveforms;Using MATLAB for THz waves using continuous Wavelet transform and research of continuous Wavelet transform of THz radiation by introducing,realizing continuous THz waves based on MATLAB Wavelet transform to make studies of THz wave by widening the time frequency area;MATLAB based on atmospheric propagation effects on optical aperture of the tactical laser weapon effects were analyzed;Using MATLAB powerful computing features analyzes the effect of high power laser propagation in the atmosphere of atmospheric absorption and scattering,attenuation caused by turbulence and thermal blooming of laser power,beam expander for target spot density effects.
