With the rise of the smart campus of colleges and universities,educational information technology characterized by digital campuses has developed rapidly in the past decade,which greatly influences the working,living,learning and thinking modes of both university teachers and college students in terms of the teaching management of universities,management of personnel,scientific research and supporting system,digital libraries,video on demand service systems,office automation systems,campus cards,and flipped smart classrooms.Thus new changes has taken place in university teaching,management and knowledge dissemination.As a result,the construction of the campus network becomes particularly important being the foundation of a smart campus or digital campus.Therefore it is essential to build a campus network which is of high-availability and high-stability as well as manageable,controllable and scalable.Taking the construction of campus network project of a college as a background,after tracking and studying the characteristics,advantages and disadvantages of campus network construction at home and abroad,this paper puts forward a complete campus network construction plan for college based on the current situation and future development of the campus,as well as the current mainstream of campus network construction.This plan gives a detailed design and a practical implementation plan on selection of key technologies such as network topology,route planning,and security deployment during project construction and the selection of various types of network connection equipment,the network IP address planning,management,etc.Meanwhile,the campus network in operation has been tested and optimized on its technologies and performance in the later period to ensure that this campus network operates efficiently,stably,and safely after delivery.The related key network technologies involved in this article include: Virtual Switch Technology(VSS),TRUNK Technology,Virtual Local Area Network(VLAN),OSPF Routing Protocol,VTP,etc.A detailed description has been given on each of these technologies adopted in the project implementation process.At the same time,the main configuration process and configuration method for relevant equipment are also described accordingly,ensuring that the project can be implemented steadily as planned.At present,the campus network has been completed and put into use.After a long period of trial operation,it proves that the design and implementation of this network plan can fully meet the needs of teachers in teaching,scientific research,office work,and the needs of the students in learning and living to its desired effect.
