Design And Implementation Of JBOD State Information Monitoring System

In recent years,with the rapid development of computer technology,the network scale expands unceasingly,and the number of storage device increase continually.The rapid expansion of the storage device requires the support of large number of modernization computer room.Higher requirement are required for the maintenance,operation and management of the storage device.Due to the large number of equipment and lack of the maintenance staff,it is hard to make rapid response to the system fault.Therefore,advanced storage network must be adapted with a modern less people or unattended computer room management mode,the operation can be good.In terms of the computer monitoring system,there are many products in domestic and foreign in this area,but all that is to monitor computer rooms of various environmental parameters,such as access control,smoke,temperature,humidity and so on,and existing products is very expensive.There is no related products which monitor the internal environment of the Storage cabinet on the market.Therefore,to design a lower cost system,specifically for JBOD environment monitor is of great significance.To solve this problem,this paper designs a set of JBOD state information monitoring system.Specific to JBOD in the computer room,a set of intelligent monitoring system of the cabinet is designed.The whole system includes three parts,hardware circuit of monitoring,transmission network and the monitoring software.The core of the whole system is the monitoring control part,which is mounted in the JBOD,the hardware circuit of monitoring fitted with temperature sensors,which is mainly responsible for the temperature acquisition in JBOD,through the PMBus,we can acquire voltage,current,the switch state in real time,through the transmission network,sent to upper computer,for the equipment failure alarm,fault analysis,provide timely,necessary information.The part can also receive control commands from the upper computer,controlled Startup or Shutdown.The maintenance staff,who work in the computer room,urgent need a set of intelligent this monitoring system.The system can acquire data from the control board which mounted in the JBOD in real time.After the data is filtered,processed,it reflects in the operation interface,the maintenance staff can clearly know the working conditions of the JBOD.When any equipment fan failed,voltage instability,temperature anomalies and so on,the operation interface give a warning,to remind the attention of maintenance staff.At the same time it can start loudspeakers in the hardware circuit warning,and guide the maintenance staff find out the faulty equipment from a large number of devices the first time,which greatly improves the working efficiency.
