With the arrival of the age of informatization big data,the demand for Internet products and services is increasing day by day,and people's dependence on the Internet is increasing day by day.At present,government departments,communications operators,financial institutions,and data-based enterprises are currently developing large-scale data center construction.As we all know,efficient and reliable power distribution system is one of the core technologies of large-scale data centers,because only a reasonable distribution system design can guarantee the stable and safe operation of such systems with high centralized data.This article studies the data center distribution system based on the MMC-HVDC system.The main contents are as follows:(1)In the traditional data center power supply system,since the loss of the power conversion rectifier and the air-conditioning cooling system accounts for a large proportion of the total loss of the system,this article focuses on the power loss of the rectifier system and the power consumption loss of the air-conditioning cooling system.With the data center power supply system's efficiency impact,and the current data center power supply system equipment volume analysis,to find the power supply system losses and equipment volume constraints.(2)Analyze four kinds of data center DC distribution systems with different architectures,and focus on analyzing the applicable scope and work of data center DC distribution system based on flexible DC transmission system for data center DC distribution system and large-capacity AC line principle.The former can make full use of the advantages of DC distribution network and flexible DC transmission to achieve the purpose of improving the efficiency of power supply,reducing costs,and reducing the size of equipment.The latter,due to the use of phase-shifting transformers,can effectively reduce the input harmonic content and increase the power consumption quality.(3)Key technologies of data center DC power distribution systems,including AC/DC converters based on MMC and DC/DC converters based on MMC.Firstly,the basic working principle and modulation method of MMC are studied;then the system-level control strategy of AC/DC converter based on MMC is studied,and the simulation and verification of this converter is performed by using MATLAB/Simulink;finally,the MMC based DC/DC converter is studied.The working principle and control strategy of DC converter are also verified by simulation in MATLAB.(4)Finally,this paper analyzes and summarizes the simulation waveform results of the DC power distribution system in the data center.Through the MMC-based DC/DC converter,the DC/DC converter has the advantages of small harmonic content,easy expansion,and electrical isolation,and can be configured flexibly according to the needs.It has very good stability in high-voltage high-power DC power grids,and ensures stable and safe operation of systems with high centralized data.
