Because of the information interaction between people and things and things to things,the Internet of Things(IoT)technology plays a decisive role in the field of contemporary information technology with data and information as the center.As an important technical foundation of the Internet of Things technology,the Wireless Sensor Network has become a research direction attracting attention of all parties.During working,wireless sensor networks usually deploy a large number of inexpensive sensor nodes in a target area that is inconvenient or inaccessible to humans to measure and collect the important data inner area.And then transmitted to upper users to provide data support for more in-depth applications after initially integrated.Because of the outstanding advantages such as low-cost,distributed processing and self-organizing networks,WSN networks are widely used in various industries now.The work of the WSN network is often occurring in the area that cannot be fully controlled by humans.After the sensor node is deployed to the area to be measured,it is usually powered by a battery.Due to the randomness and inaccessibility of the node distribution,it is impossible to replace or charge the battery.Thus,if a large number of nodes are depleted,it will cause serious problems on the network and even cause the network crash.Therefore,through various methods,the engineering designer hopes that the energy consumption of the node can be as slow as possible so as to extend the network's living space as much as possible.In conclusion,a WSN network protocol is needed to reduce the energy consumption of nodes from multiple perspectives.This paper first studies the related theories of wireless sensor networks,discusses the architecture of WSN networks,summarizes the characteristics of WSN network routing protocols,and then classifies and discusses routing protocols from different perspectives.It briefly describes the protocol working process,features,and design.Based on the ideas,summarize the key design factors of the WSN routing protocol.Different application scenarios also have important influence on the design of routing protocols.First,introduces a variety of typical hierarchical routing protocols to understand their design concepts,and make comparison;then discuss the LEACH algorithm in depth in order to understand its design concepts and theoretical models.And next summarizes the improvement of the standard LEACH protocol and discusses the key factors to improve the LEACH protocol.Finally,based on a comprehensive comparison of different types of routing protocols,the paper focuses on discussing the classical hierarchical routing protocol LEACH.In order to balance the energy into all nodes in the network as much as possible,to improve the life cycle of the whole network.An improved scheme for LEACH protocol is proposed in this paper.The main improvements include four aspects: join the residual energy of node and change of node energy into the parameter of cluster-head election.Cluster-head election strategy is designed to main and standby cluster-head;odd-even-round control and the combination of single-hop and multi-hop between clusters.At last,perform the simulation through Matlab software,after detailed analysis of simulation result,to achieve the final conclusion of the design scheme.
