Earthquake is a badly damaging natural calamity for people. It brought heavy losses at lives and properties every time a serious earthquake occurred. The rescue work after earthquake has caused the whole world's attention, and information gathering of earthquake field is the key for a rapid, efficient rescue. There are some disadvantages in the using of existing means for information collection and transmission, not convenient and flexible to complete the collection of the earthquake field information. Under this background, based on the actual application needs, we design a wireless transmission system to complete the information collection of vibration data, image, and voice. This paper analyzes the key technologies in the system, shows the overall design structure, and describes the custom communication protocol and hardware, software implementation in details. We are aiming at developing a set of small, portable, easy using information collection device.Firstly, according to the system function, we analyze the composition of the system, calculate the key parameters of each module and show the overall design block diagram of the master station and the slave station. The key technologies involved in the various modules are analyzed and compared. Then we determine the vibration sensing, image coding, voice coding, and wireless transmission solutions of the system.Secondly, the concrete hardware implementations of the modules are described, including the selection of the control chip and its minimum system structure; the principle of the vibration sensor, signal conditioning circuit design, A/D sampling of the data module; image format conversion, coding chip theory and the external circuit design; the use of voice codec chip and external circuit design; the main chip structure of the wireless module.In addition, the communication protocol between the master station and slave station and the frame type and frame content of the various modules are designed. According to the protocol, we design overall software structure of the system and explain the design idea. We describe the program design of each module in details, and show the corresponding flowchart.Finally, we show the object produced, and introduce the system man-machine interface on computer. The test result of each module and the performance achieved are described.
