As the improvement of the society and living standard,traveling by air is becoming more and more popular among people,which accelerate the development of aviation industry,especially the civil aviation.Therefore,numerous projects have been adopted to build or rebuild the civil aviation,leading to the greatly increase in the requirements of airport broadcast system.The airport broadcast system which is high intelligent is very important for the construction of civil aviation.Currently,the digital audio broadcasting system has been employed by the domestic airport,and the system based on the CobraNet audio transmission protocol plays the dominant role.However,the high-cost of the system based on the Cobra Net audio transmission protocol hinders the application for the small-scale civil aviation.As a consequence,the new technology which is low-cost must be introduced to improve the airport broadcast system to provoke the development of the aviation industry.The topic in this paper is derived from the project to reform the airport broadcast system based on the CobraNet audio transmission protocol.This paper focus on the design and execution of the airport broadcast system based on VoIP phone technology as well as RTP technology.According to the airport business requirements,function modules of the system have been divided,meanwhile,the summary design and particular design as well as the implementation has been established.Airport staff can carry out the artificial broadcasting,pre-recorded broadcasting,semi-automatic broadcasting and TTS broadcasting via the network call station equipment.The digital audio transmission of the original digital broadcasting system accomplished through the Cobranet technology,is consist of two sets of network construction.The one is control network founded on TCP/IP,which is responsible for the signal transmission and the broadcasting control;the other is audio network based on Cobranet,to control the digital-audio signal transmission and the audio signals.More importantly,there is only one original set of network needed to achieve this novel system,besides,audio transmission is carried out with the RTP technology,which shares the same set of network with the signal control,resulting in significantly decreasing the cost.The design scheme under the foundation of airport actual requirements is perfectly matched with the demands of civil aviation,what is more,this novel design has been executed with the high stability after a long-time function and performance test.
