With the improvement of mobile communication technologies,the demands for high-speed data rate and spectrum efficiency are gradually increasing.Spinal codes as a new type of rateless code combine coding and modulation to not only increase spectrum efficiency,but also enhance the reliability of transmission.MIMO system has become the hot topic for researchers because it can greatly improve system capacity.This thesis mainly studies the application of Spinal codes in MIMO channel.Firstly,the Spinal encoder with linear congruential algorithm is designed,and the application scheme of Spinal codes in MIMO channel is proposed.Then,based on the analysis of the minimum Euclidean distance of two-dimensional signal,the error probability of the scheme is given.Finally,the proposed scheme is extended to the scenario of the massive MIMO system.Two schemes are given.They are available to the transmitter with or without the chananel state information,respectively.The details are given as follows:Chapter one briefly describes the background of the related technologies of this thesis,including the MIMO system and the massive MIMO system,it also gives an overview of the channel coding and the Spinal codes.Finally,the main research contents in the thesis are given.In the second chapter,the structure of the Spinal encoder and the hash function are introduced in detail.Then we introduce the decoding algorithm of the Spinal codes,including the maximum likelihood decoding and the scale-down decoding.In the following,the performance of the Spinal codes is studied by analyzing the minimum Euclidean distance.Finally,a method by introducing tail symbols to improve performance of the Spinal codes.In the third chapter,in order to further reducing the encoding and decoding complexity of the Spinal codes,we design the Spinal encoder with linear congruential algorithm.Then we propose a scheme of Spinal codes in MIMO channel.Then we simulate the performance of the proposed scheme and compared with the Turbo code in the same environment.Finally,we analyze the minimum Euclidean distance of two-dimensional signal and deduce the error probability of the scheme.In the fourth chapter,the application of the Spinal codes in massive MIMO system is studied based on the reaserch of chapter three.We firstly analyze the system capacity of the transmitter with and without the channel status information.Correspondingly,we propose two schemes for the two scenarios,respectively.Finally,the spectrum of the minimum Euclidean distance of the Spinal codes in massive MIMO system are analyzed.The final chapter concludes the thesis and gives the limitations of the reaserch and the direction of further study.
