Full-life cycle automatic animation generation technology was proposed by academician Lu Ruqian from Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1990 s,it's goal is transform restricted story into a 3D animation,each step during the process is completed in the computer-assisted.Compared to the production methods of traditional animation,it improves the efficiency of production in a large degree.After that,researcher Zhang Songmao propose apply the technology to mobile phone text message,and led the group members design and implement mobile animation automatic generation system.The system based on message content,after a series of processing,like information extraction and plot planning,at last generate a 3D animation and send to the receiver.In animation automatic generation system,we build some animation scene to express the topic of message,called original scene.We marked some free area in every animation scene,called scene space.The system could extract some model based on message,layout planning module will design layout plan for them and put them into scene space,it can improve the reusability of the model and the variability of animation scene.Based on the different of message content,the model of system extracted is not the same,so,we should abide some principles during layout planning.We specified four principles in this paper,including non-overlapping principle,priority principle,rationality principle and appreciation principle.Based these principle,this paper proposes a hierarchical layout method based on area layout and regional layout.The main work of this paper include two aspects:Firstly,we designed and implement hierarchical layout planning system.The layout scheme has two levels,the first level is divided models into several areas then give the placement plan for every area,the second level is give the placement plan for these areas.Layout scheme included in the qualitative planning module and quantitative calculation module.The qualitative planning module divided models into areas and give the layout shape and layout effect for them.The quantitative calculation module calculates the size of every area and put them into scene space,then calculates the position of every model and put them into animation scene.Layout planning should consider the nature of the model and the relationship between them.This article achieved the division of models based on some principle,to make the layout scheme similar with the layout in our daily life to expect the layout planning could be more reasonable.Secondly,we established the hierarchical layout knowledge base.The hierarchical layout planning system design the layout scheme based on the knowledge base.The hierarchical layout knowledge base consisted of hierarchical layout ontology and hierarchical layout rule base.The hierarchical layout ontology includes layout class and layout instance,like layout shape class and layout effect class,and we defined some instance into these class.Layout shape could describe the shape of model's layout,like triangle,rectangle.Layout effect could describe the effect of model's layout,like compare,symmetry.Layout instance could define some attribute to describe the characteristics of the instance,like we could use layout density to describe the discrete degree of model's layout.The hierarchical layout rule base contains all of the layout rules,we could use these rules to inference the layout scheme based on animation scene,the topic of the message and the layout knowledge.This article designed three experiments to evaluate the hierarchical layout planning system.From March 1,2016 to January 4,2017,animation automatic generation system generates 1209 animations.During these message,1184 animations added hierarchical layout planning,the effective rate is 97.93%,it verified the effectiveness of the system.Then,choose 50 messages to make diversity experiment,we running 10 times quantitative calculation for every message,78% of message generate 5 or more layout result,it verified the diversity of the system.At last,we choose 50 animations to make ornamental experiment,the score of "I think the layout of models has strong ornamental property" is 5.4,illustrates hierarchical layout planning has a certain amount of ornamental.This article designed and implement hierarchical layout planning system,the system could design layout scheme by automatically based on model information and the position relation with models,then calculate the position of every model by the scheme and put it to the animation scene.Future work is to design more variety of layout way to make layout scheme richness.
