Radio ranging is a kind of ranging method based on the application technology of electromagnetic waves.It has a wide range of applications in the military and communications fields,such as the radio proximity fuse,the use of radio for the detection of the target distance,so as to obtain the fuse detonation time.With the continuous deepening of radio ranging applications,the requirements for performance such as the breadth and accuracy of detection,and the degree of resistance to ambient environment interference are also increasing.In the traditional radio ranging process,the restriction of the environmental noise makes a certain gap between the actual distance measurement result and the theoretical calculation value.Aiming at the problem of low range accuracy caused by noise interference in radio ranging,the research of radio ranging system based on mixed signal is proposed in order to use the unique performance of chaotic signal to complete the performance of radio ranging system affected by noise problems.Based on the traditional radio ranging,the paper adopts chaotic signal and uses its characteristics of noise,high frequency,sharp autocorrelation function and so on to improve the accuracy of radio ranging.Firstly,learn the basic principle of chaotic system,use simulation software to simulate and analyze different chaos oscillator circuits,obtain the optimal Colpitts oscillator circuit and improve it;then complete the chaotic signal from simulation to the actual output,and complete the chaotic transceiver circuit design Including voltage-controlled oscillator,amplifying circuit,coupled output,etc.Finally,chaotic reference signal and reflection received echo signal are related to the research and processing of the algorithm,completing the research and design of the entire radio ranging system.The experimental results show that the longest distance measured by the radio ranging system based on chaotic signals is 6.98 m,and the ranging accuracy is 1cm.Compared with ordinary ultrasonic or pulse signals,the accuracy of the ranging system is improved to some extent.Can meet the radio ranging requirements.However,the optimization and improvementof detection distance are relatively small.In the future research process,we need to increase the detection distance on this basis and further improve the algorithms for data research.
