As the fourth state of matter,arc plasma is characterized by high temperature and high electro-thermal conversion efficiency.It is widely used in aviation industry,environmental protection,welding and nuclear physics.Arc power,as a key equipment in the electro-thermal conversion process.In recent years,with the continuous improvement of manufacturing technology and switch control technology for power electronic devices,power electronic converter devices characterized by high frequency and digitization have been formed in the small and medium power fields,which is also inevitable trend in the field of power electronics in the future.Aiming at the disadvantages of large volume,complicated operation,and large amount of iron and copper in traditional arc power supply,a 24kW DC arc power supply was developed by combining switching power supply technology and digital control technology.The paper first describes the arc plasma and the common arc power supply,and introduces the development status and trends of the arc power supply.On this basis,the power supply system is designed based on the performance index.The system is divided into two parts:the power main circuit and the Arc ignition power supply.Among them,the power main circuit adopts the full-bridge inverter topological structure,takes the IGBT as the core device of the power conversion,thus carry on the power main circuit and the high frequency transformer design.The control circuit takes the TMS320F2812 as the core of control system,and carries out phase shift control of the inverter circuit to achieve a wide range of output current regulation and closed-loop control.In addition,circuits such as signal isolation,signal sampling,and fault protection are designed around the chip to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the system.For the Arc ignition power supply,combined with its functions,a non-contact arc ignition power supply was designed by applying double voltage rectification and high-frequency oscillation technology.It has the characteristics of success rate of arc striking,small volume,simple operation,etc.It also ensures the normal startup and safe operation of the power system by coupling and disconnecting with the power main circuit.Finally,through the debugging and experiment of the power supply equipment,the expected results are obtained,and the feasibility,rationality and reliability of the design scheme are verified.
