Hairdware Design Of Smart Camera System For Industrial Inspection Based On Embedded GPU

With the advent of the "industrial 4.0" era,the traditional manufacturing industry has ushered in the upgrading and transformation of technology,and industrial producting tends to be more automated and intelligent.With the development of machine vision technology,industrial detection system based on machine vision has been widely used in the fields of die cutting,printing and dyeing,steel and other large manufacturing industries.However,the existing industrial inspection system has low integration and complex structure,which is not conducive to the promotion and popularization.Therefore,further research of new industrial detection intelligent camera system with character of miniaturization,low power consumption and high integration,has a high value of engineering applications.For this reason,aim'ing at the application scenario of die cutting workpiece,a smart camera hardware system for industrial inspection based on embedded GPU is designed in this thesis.The system collects the workpiece image through linear image sensor,and receives and converts image data using FPGA;then transmits data to the embedded GPU through PCI-E bus;then GPU does the feature analysis and defect determination for data.Thus,the function of the workpiece size inspection and defect inspection is achieved.In addition,the smart camera system extends HDMI interface and USB interface for real-time image display and human-machine interaction,and expand Gigabit Ethernet interface for image uploading and local storage.The test shows that the smart camera system for industrial inspection based on embedded GPU is stable and reliable.At present,the system has passed the prototype test,and meets the design requirements.
