In recent years,three-dimensional imaging and display technologies are receiving more and more attention,and the naked-eye three-dimensional display technology is favored because of not wearing glasses and other auxiliary equipment.A light field display system based on a microlens array is one of the naked eye three-dimensional display devices,which has the advantages of complete parallax,continuous viewpoints,without any glasses equipment and special lighting.The light field display system has many applications,of which the most promising is electronic sand table,and can achieve real-time interactive electronic sand table can greatly enhance its value,but because of its super-multi-view features,the use of traditional rasterized rendering is almost impossible to render in real time with this light field system,while using ray tracing speeds up the rendering of images dramatically if GPU-accelerated ray tracing is more capable of near real-time interaction effect.This thesis combines the light tracing rendering technology with the word processing technology in the computer to display the vector text in the light field display system.The main contents of the full text are as follows:1.The basic principles of integrated imaging and light field display are introduced.The computer-generated integrated imaging used in this paper is introduced.The light field display system based on lens array is introduced briefly.2.The principle of ray tracing and the Monte Carlo ray tracing process are discussed.The technology of ray tracing acceleration based on GPU is introduced.The reason of using ray tracing without using rasterization in the light field display system technology.3.The vector text processing library in the light field display system was designed.The polygonal triangulation algorithm in the field of computational geometry was studied.The processing library based on the algorithm was designed for subdividing vector glyph outline into triangle grid4.Discusses and designs a method of rendering 2D text and 3D text in a light field display system using ray tracing rendering technology and a better solution for displaying vector text in the practical application of the electronic sand table.5.Implement a library of vector text processing and display,in which the bottom layer uses Freetype for font analysis to generate bitmap text and glyph outline,and triangulate the glyph outline to generate a triangular grid,and finally use OpenGL and OptiX for vector text rendering experiment,finally the library will be used in light field display systemThe result of the application on the electronic sand table shows that the texts to be displayed can be easily generated by using the scheme designed and implemented in this article and can lay a foundation for the subsequent expansion of the function of adding text information in real time.
