Recently,with the development of society and the improvement of information technology,the demand for information capacity is also growing,which makes the research of the next generation network communication technology particularly important.In order to solve the transmission pressure of optical fiber communication network,high technical are required for signal processing technology in network nodes and transmission.All optical signal processing technology uses all-optical method to process the signal,which can avoid the photoelectric conversion process,thus meeting the high speed requirements.Nowadays,the research of all-optical signal processing is mainly focused on all-optical signal regeneration,all-optical signal quantization,all-optical wavelength conversion,all-optical signal multiplexing,all-optical logic gates and so on.As for the all-optical signal quantization,more attentions have been placed on the research of all-optical amplitude quantization than the all-optical phase quantization.However,all-optical phase quantization plays an important role in all-optical analog-to-digital conversion(ADC).It can also be applied to the phase regeneration and format conversion of signals.The paper focuses on the optimization and application of all-optical phase quantization based on phase sensitive amplification.The main work and research contents of the paper are as follows:1.The reaearch focuse on the all-optical phase quantization based on phase sensitive amplification.The principle of phase quantization through dual-wave interference and the influence of amplitude ratio on phase quantization are analyzed.A formula for measuring the phase quantization is proposed,and the analytic solution of the amplitude ratio of the dual-wave interference in phase quantization is obtained by the derivation of the formula.At the same time,the principle of triple-wave interference to realize phase quantization and the influence of amplitude ratio on quantization effect are studied.The optimal solution of amplitude ratio of three level phase quantization is derived,and it is also proved that the triple-wave interference can improve the phase quantization precision.2.The influence of optical path difference on the quantization effect in the phase quantization by the dual-wave interference and triple-wave interference is studied respectively.The correctness of the amplitude ratio obtained through calculation is proved by system simulation.3.All optical phase quantization is applied to phase regeneration and format conversion of high order modulation format signals.The significance of phase modulation signal regeneration and format conversion is introduced,and the principle of phase modulation signal regeneration and format conversion by using all optical phase quantization technology is introduced.The optimal solution of the amplitude ratios are obtained by derivation.
