In recent years,with the rapid expansion of new technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning,the links between traditional industries and the Internet have become closer,and various emerging industries of the Internet+ are also booming.As the types and scale of network services become larger and larger,the amount of data generated every day increases exponentially,which makes optical communication technology develop rapidly toward ultra-high speed,large capacity,and low latency.Therefore,the advanced modulation format has become a hot spot for research.However,advanced modulation format signals are more sensitive to phase noise and amplitude noise while carrying more information and higher spectral efficiency.Therefore,it is necessary to add a device to regenerate the amplitude and phase of the advanced modulation format signal in the actual transmission link which will prevent the signal error rate from increasing or even distorting.In this paper,the amplitude-phase regeneration technology of advanced modulation format signals is studied and the corresponding solutions are proposed.At the same time,for the contradiction between the high-order modulation format signal in the backbone network and the low-order modulation format signal that the local access network needs high noise tolerance,this paper studies the high-order modulation format signal to the low-order modulation format signal conversion.The main research contents are as follows:1)Aiming at the problem of amplitude and phase regeneration of advanced modulation format signals,a simultaneous amplitude and phase regeneration of advanced modulation format signals based on multi-wave interference is proposed.This paper first expounds the principle of traditional two-wave interference regeneration and the inherent defects of phase regeneration with amplitude deterioration,and then superimposes a new high-order harmonic on the basis of two-wave interference,taking the high-order modulation format signal of star-8QAM as an example.The analysis compares the similarities and differences between three-wave interference and two-wave interference.In order to realize the effect of simultaneous amplitude and phase regeneration in real sense,this paper also analyzes the substantial effects of two harmonics in three-wave interference,so as to achieve the same amplitude regeneration by adjusting the power ratio between the two harmonics.2)Aiming at the problem of transforming advanced modulation format signals into low-order modulation format signals,a theoretical model of converting 8PSK signal format into two PAM4 signals is proposed.The scheme proposed in this paper mainly realizes a phase shift between the signal and the pump through the coupler,and then inputs the two signals into the four-wave mixing in the high nonlinear fiber respectively,and realizes the format conversion by the phase sensitive amplification principle.At the same time,the two PAM4 signals are simultaneously obtained at the original signal frequency without complicated harmonic generation process,which reduces the complexity of the device and the difficulty of phase locking between harmonics.
