The continuous development of the Internet,mobile communication technology,especially the 4G era brought cultural life rich and colorful entertainment for people,therefore the modern society of network and network exchange rate has a very high demand.In the past three decades,the birth of optical fiber communication technology has caused great changes in the telecommunication industry,and has completely changed people's communication means.Among them,WDM is considered to be an epoch-making technological innovation in the field of optical fiber communication,and can strongly promote the progress of optical fiber communication.Besides,tunable lasers play an important role in WDM.This paper first introduces the development of optical communication.Tunable semiconductor lasers play the main role in it and will play an increasingly important role in the development of the future of communication.The tunable laser are divided into three kinds.Then,we introduce the basic principle of REC technology,and the technological process of using REC technology to produce grating is explained,and the laser array with precise wavelength interval is obtained through two epitaxial growth.We emphatically introduces the eight channel fast wavelength switching laser array's driving circuit design and detailed analysis of the whole circuit of the hardware design,parameters of driver chip GN25L96 chosen reason are carried on the detailed specification.I also design a kind of special circuit based on BCV62 conversion.Then the design of the whole software circuit software is introduced,including three subsystems:1.Circuits switching command input system;2.SCM control system;3.FPGA control system.Finally introduces the two common wavelength tunable laser switch time measuring method,and do three experiments respectively the wavelength of the laser array switch time within 1 us.Switched wavelength stability for a long period of time is quite impressive,and whole experiment results are simply analyzed.
