Nowadays,network structure and scale are increasingly complex and new network technologies emerge in endlessly.Therefore,how to develop network devices to meet network requirements has become an important issue today.The design and development of traditional network equipment mainly rely on experience,and are unable to handle any special performance requirements.In this case,the network simulation as a new network planning and design techniques came into being.High-speed FC switch is a new type of switch developed to meet the needs of new networks.In order to study,the process can be completed to adjust the internal scheduling strategy,clear the real-time performance indicators and design crossbar hardware.Through rigorous testing to qualitative and quantitative analysis of the research process,the research can be more scientific and more efficient.Today's simulation software is maturing,but the simulation of high-speed FC switches with high accuracy is not well supported.So in this thesis,the strategy of business data flow in the simulation model and the strategy of inter-process clock synchronization are deeply studied.Based on the research,the simulation platform of high-speed FC switch is developed based on the OPNET simulation software.In this thesis,we analyze the business scenarios in the existing network environment and propose different business models to generate the simulation data flow that fits the real network scenarios in the strategy of generating business data flows,so as to solve the problems that need to simulate different business in the simulation process demand.In the inter-process clock synchronization strategy,this thesis designs the arbiter clock synchronization strategy and the background flow clock synchronization strategy,and implements the synchronization advancement of the inter-process clock with different ideas,thus solving the problem that the existing simulation can not work due to a single clock strategy and accuracy of this feature.In order to facilitate the research,this thesis designs and implements a set of emulation platform for high-speed FC switches.According to different business flow processes,the platform is divided into three parts:business flow generation,switch implementation and data packet statistics.The service flow generation module generates data information of different service types.The switch implementation module can load different switch models and related policies.The data packet statistics module collects and persists the simulation results in detail in the database.The three modules Formed a complete system.Finally,simulate different business scenarios by using high-speed FC switch emulation platform.In the same situation of the business scenario,it is more efficient to push forward with the policy clock in the background flow,and the clock effect of the arbiter with the policy process is better.As for the switch strategy test can be drawn double-chip crossbar delay than single-chip crossbar and other conclusions.And not only from the qualitative point of view,but also from the quantitative point of view of the test analysis,to produce scientific data as the theoretical support for follow-up research.
