The location problem is not only a long history,but closely related to people's daily life,life safetyand so on.With the rapid development of science and technology,various positioning technology and method are studied and applied,but,these positioningresults is still very difficult to meet the objective needs of the people,the violent location needs ofthe government departments and the warm eager of rigid positioningof the military strategy,etc.The wireless location technology is not only one of the most important methods to solve the positioningproblem,but usedwidely in many fields.However,there are still many deficiencies,such as GPS,BDS and other outdoor wireless positioning method in complex environment and the indoor environment have the poor positioning accuracy,and the indoor wireless positioning methodhas the poor positioningaccuracy,the high cost,high computational complexity of the algorithm,deploy complex,and so on.The efficiency of wireless positioning technology is bad in many specific areas.Therefore,the research of the indoorwireless location technology is very important.In order to compensate the related indoor wireless positioning method existedpoor positioning precision,high positioning error fluctuation,high calculation complex degree of location algorithm,or more complex layout,this subject hopesto studythe relatedwireless positioning methodby means of the ZigBee technology and the wireless communication module,and their main advantagesare low power consumption,low cost and high reliability.First of all,from the people's life safety objective need,the governments' wireless positioning rigid needs,location based services(LBS)market prospects and the current indoor wireless positioning method existing themany shortcomings,the background and significance of the research are described,then the current situation and the developmentof the wireless location technology at home and abroad makes a brief analysis and summary,especially the ZigBee wireless location technology,after,7 kinds of indoor wireless locating method,the current typical,mature and widely applied,and good development prospect,is analyzed and compared,and this paper identified with ZigBee technology and wireless communication module to carry out the research on the wireless positioning method.Secondly,the two relevant aspects ofZigBee wireless positioning system,the ZigBee wireless communication network communication protocol,equipment type,working frequency,channelselection and working mode,network topology structure and network building,and the construction ofZigBee wireless positioning system experiment platform,are introduced,witha show that tied up 5performance indicators evaluation on ZigBee wireless positioning system.Third,not only has been studying andspecializing the wireless positioning algorithm based on distanceand the wireless positioning algorithm based on non-distance,but,for the above wireless positioning algorithm existingsome disadvantages,such as the wireless positioning algorithm based on received signal strength indicator(RSSI),the wireless positioning algorithm based on the localization information,and the "fingerprint" library wireless positioning algorithm based on received signal strength indicator(RSSI),exsit the poor positioning accuracy,volatile positioning error or location layout more complex faults,etc,this paper proposestwo kinds of the improved wireless positioning algorithms,namely the improved geometric center wireless positioning algorithm based on localizationinformation and the improved "fingerprint" library wireless positioning algorithm based on received signal strength indicator(RSSI).Fourth,this paper used the MATLAB to be simulating and certificatingthe trilateral centroid wireless positioning algorithmbased on received signal strength indicator(RSSI),thequadrilateral centroid wireless positioning algorithmbased on localization information,theimproved geometric center wireless positioning algorithm based on localization information and the improved "fingerprint" library wireless positioning algorithm based on received signal strength indicator(RSSI).Fifth,in this paper,the ZigBee wireless positioning system experiment platformbased onEB2530 implementsthe trilateral centroid wireless positioning algorithm based on received signal strength indicator(RSSI),the quadrilateral centroid wireless positioning algorithm based on localization information,the improved geometric center wireless positioning algorithm based on localization information and the improved "fingerprint" library wireless positioning algorithm based on received signal strength indicator(RSSI)..
