Studies have shown that human exhaled nitric oxide(FeNO)gas is a marker of airway.FeNO of patients with asthma was significantly higher than healthy people. The level of FeNO and the severity of asthma disease is positively correlated.Asthma is a multiple and persistent disease caused by allergies, which seriously affects people's health.According to related organizations, more than 300 million people worldwide suffer from asthma.Asthma control has become a priority in many countries.Because of the non-invasive nature of breath testing and analysis, combined with its advantages of high efficiency and rapidity,it has important practical significance in clinical application and research.Based on the exhaled gas detection system, some important trace components such as nitrogen oxides, carbon oxides and other important indicators can be rapid monitored and analyzed in real-time.This will be greatly helpful to improve the refractory diagnosis and treatment of asthma, reduce asthma mortality and reduce medical costs. In this paper, the existing exhaled nitric oxide analyzers are discussed here. For the detection of nitric oxide(NO)and carbon dioxide(CO 2)in exhaled gas,a new rapid and simple method for the detection and analysis of exhaled gas was developed.Based on the principles of electrochemical sensors,a multi-parameter exhaled gas detection system was established according to the guidelines of the American Thoracic Society and the European Respiratory Society. The system was designed to detect the exhaled gas While the introduction of nitrogen dioxide in the detection of carbon dioxide indicators. The system design includes the gas sensor, the mass flow sensor, the air pump, the filter and so on part, also including the corresponding upper computer software design.Based on the experimental system established in this paper, five subjects were selected to carry out breath test. The experimental results show that the system can identify the two components of nitric oxide and carbon dioxide and quantitatively analyze the two components.By comparing the results of the on-line and off-line tests,it can be concluded that the results between the two models can not be substituted for each other in clinical use.In conclusion, based on the study of physiology and pathology of human exhaled gas,the research and experiment of human exhaledbreath detection and analysis system are carried out.A two-component parallel detection system is proposed and established. This work has laid a reliable foundation for further study the exhaled gas and disease-related relationship.
