Intense attention have been focused on the field of carbon nanotube's potentional applications due to its excellent physics characteristic, chemical characteristic and mechanical characteristic. Owing to its effect of the surface and intrinsic lacuna, carbon nanotubes have perfect reactive ability than other allotrope of graphite. When they were used as electrode's modifier, it can promote electron transfer between the electrode and ambient substances. In this thesis, multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) were modified on the surface of substrate electrodes. Then, the biomolecules, such as cytochrome c, catalase etc, were adsorbed on MWNTs'surface and their electrochemical characteristics were investigated. Further, the biosensor based on MWNTs were proposed. The thesis consisted of five chapters:(1) recent progress of electrochemical biosensor and MWNTs research was reviewed. Then the research proposal for this thesis was presented. (2) Cyt. C was adsorbed onto the surface of MWNTs modified electrode by CVs. Then the direct electron transfer between Cyt. C and electrode was observed, and bioelectrocatalysis of Cyt.c for NO, H2O2, O2 were investigated. (3) Cat/MWNTs electrode was constructed, then the direct electron transfer of Cat and its bioelectrocatalysis to H2O2 and O2 were studied. (4) Hemoglobin adsorbed on the surface of MWNTs/electrode was researched. And its direct electron transfer and...
