Design And Realization Of Inventory Management Information System For The Small And Medium-sized Nursing Home

At present the society is in the era of Internet which brings huge changes rapidly.The Internet and other computer applications can simplify work,with efficiency higher and work more precise.After technological revolutions,the inventory management system is on the way to non-paper and automation.With the disappearance of population dividend,the living of aged people has become a problem,to which the key is to construct large-scale advanced nursing homes.In the administrative system of nursing homes,a function-complete inventory system is in need for it can efficiently assist in storage of donations,as well as avoid wasting so as to save inventory costs.On the basis of such background and realities of Huan cheng Town Nursing Home,the paper is intended to provide a design an inventory system for a 500-people nursing home.The system is founded on C# and SQL database,with the major function of the operation of in-store and out-store.In addition,the system includes functions such as information-recording of the store,donators and goods,multi-conditional classified inquiries of goods,rights management,data back-up and recovery.We also create new functions for staff there and donators through the analysis of characteristics of people in the nursing home,which can lighten the burdens of staff and provide a better knowledge of goods in urgent need with the improvement of usage.For example,the goods allocation is recommended via Hungarian algorithm.The classified inquiries of goods are done through conditions like Year/Month,Type of Stores,Name of Goods.The storage is shown in chart.Meanwhile,the speed of goods consumption can be estimated with a calculation of use-up time.And the bottom line of storage is set;if the storage is lower than that there will be a warning.Finally we have developed a featured multiple-functional inventory management system for nursing homes.
